Directions for Installation

Prepping the bike
If you have a stock fender, take the plastic part off. On some bikes the
plastic fender are secured by bolts while on others it will require cutting off
the plastic.

Mounting the Flipper.
The Flipper will have bolts on the top which you simply mount to the tail
end of your bike, tighten the bolts well. We also give you some screws that
is optional to use. They will help with the vibration from the road if you
choose to use them.

Mounting the Switch
there are a few ways to mount the switch, you can cut a small
hole in your plastic so that the switch fits flush, or you can use a
clamp to keep it in place. Or use a bit of metal shown here in
this picture to mount it.

License plate light

If you got the 12 volt led to light up your plate hook that up to your running
lights so it will go on when your bike is in use and turn off when your bike
is off.

Wired toggle switch. (Gold kit, vertical flipper, Harley flipper)

The wired toggle switch has a 5 watt 32ohm resistor on it, because the
flippers motor is rated at 6 volts, and your bike battery has 12 volts. Just
hook one side up to the motorcycles battery or running light, and the other
side to the flipper.  When connecting the wires make sure to use the shrink
wrap that is provided. You can use a cigarette lighter to shrink the wrap. Or
just use electrical tape.

The Wireless kits

The wireless kits use a combination of AA battery's and two 5 watt
resistors. Hook the side that is coming out of the computer board to your
bikes 12 volt source, and hook the other wire up the to the Flipper.  The
two wires should be labeled. Please look at the video at the bottom of this
page for more information about the wireless kits.

Car flipper and euro flipper
Take your license plate off, then mount the flipper on your car.
Attach the license plate to the flipper with the bolts provide. If you
ordered the wired kits (car flipper, and euro flipper) hook one side of
the wiring harness up to the cars 12 volt system. This also uses a 5
watt 32 ohm resistor.
If you have the wired kit you can hook your front and back license
plate to flip on a single switch. Each metal flipper needs its own
resistor, so you will need to do a little cutting. I included a video
with more instructions, If you request we can send the two wiring
harness already connected.
